About

Ritsche, Zast & Marien bring together painting and music. During large-scale performances they show different ways of how those two art forms can communicate. The essential part in this communication is the use of the body: Ritsche Koch (trumpet), Christian Marien (drums) and Thomas Bratzke (brushes, markers) move freely around the whole location.

Ritsche Koch

Ritsche Koch
intensively works on the meeting of music with other forms of art like fine arts, dance or speech, performing with projects all over the world. He also is a member of several jazz bands as well as pop projects such as Miss Platnum or Peter Fox.

Thomas Bratzke

Thomas Bratzke
studied design and sculpturing at the University of Fine Arts Weissensee / Berlin. He joined a master class with Prof. Berndt Wilde in 2005/2006. His sculptural works deal with urban space in impulsive, playful and tactical ways.

Christian Marien

Christian Marien
